Holne Park House and the surrounding estate has been owned by the Simpson family for the past 75 years. The House was built as a private family home between 1885 and 1906 and lived in by the Dawson family until the 1930's. Since then there have been a variety of occupants, from the RAF during the war, a hotel and later an outward-bound and training centre. During this time many of the original rooms and features were hidden or removed and the principal reception rooms fell into disrepair. The recent programme of renovation has returned the rooms to their former glory and the remodelling of the five function rooms and overnight accommodation has made the house an idyllic venue for civil weddings, wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions; and a superb conference venue and conference centre for corporate events and team building events, offering a level of luxury hard to find elsewhere in Devon. Perfectly situated to serve the whole of Devon including Plymouth, South Hams, Mid Devon, North Devon, Torbay, Newton Abbot and Exeter; the house is easy to find thanks to the brown tourist signs on the A38 between Exeter and Plymouth.
