Holne Park House is set deep within 90 acres of grounds and gardens, which nestles on the southern slopes of Dartmoor and boasts the scenic River Dart running through it.
The mansion house was originally built as a private family home between 1885-1906 and lived in by the Dawson family until the 1930's. During its time Holne Park House has been used for a variety of purposes from an RAF's headquarters during the 2nd World war, to a hotel and then an outward bound/ training centre. Sadly during this time many of the original features were hidden or removed and the principal reception rooms fell into disrepair.
Since 1933 Holne Park House has been owned by the Simpson family and in 2006 the Holne Park House was renovated. The renovation has seen the rooms returned to their former glory; the five reception rooms have been restored and the house now includes nine luxury bedrooms and suites located over the first and second floors.
Holne Park House has quickly built a reputation on quality and service and is now the wedding and party venue of choice.
