Holne Park House

Holne Park House is one of the most romantic, stylish and unique Devon wedding venues. A magnificent country house in a wildly romantic setting, it has always seemed destined for the big day.

Nestled on the southern slopes of Dartmoor set deep within the 90 acres of grounds and gardens of the River Dart Country Park, the house is an idyllic venue for your Devon wedding. All five reception rooms are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and can accommodate over 200 people for your wedding reception.

The house is available on an exclusive use basis for twenty four or forty eight hours, allowing the bride, groom and guests to relax in style and luxury. 

Over the past twelve months the five principal reception rooms and en-suite accommodation have been meticulously restored to their former glory and they now offer a truly sumptuous venue for your very special day.

For those wishing to make the most of the stunning surroundings there is a level-lawn area to the front of the house and an attractive tea garden that provides the perfect setting for a marquee that can accommodate larger parties of up to 300 guests for a reception.

Our aim is to be as flexible as possible to ensure your dreams are fulfilled, and with attractive rooms and mature gardens you will celebrate in unrivalled style. We offer a choice of reception rooms and a luxurious bridal suite, as well as overnight accommodation for your guests.

Help and Advice

To help you with your reception plans we are able to make recommendations of florists, dress makers, jewellers, wedding car and chauffeur, bands and musicians, discos and events and gentlemens outfitters. Please ask for details.

Fully Licensed

Holne Park House is licensed for the sale and consumption of alcohol as well as having an entertainment license until 1 o'clock in the morning, although most receptions finish earlier. 

Getting Married

All our reception rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies, this enables you to be married and hold your reception without the need for you or your guests to travel.
